‘Tis Every Season

Considering Christmas is less than two weeks away, I’ve decided it’s time to discuss one of my favorite exterior decorating ideas: Wreaths! What a warm, welcoming way to decorate your house for Christmas AND year round. A wreath on your front door can really set the attitude for your home and greet your visitors. So stay up to date with every season and adorn your front door with some beauty!

The One with the Pink Door

Image

My mother’s pink door on a winter’s day.

I grew up in a house with a pink door. It wasn’t typical by any means, but it was eye-catching and made everyone smile. Perhaps not my father did not find it as amusing, when he returned home from a business trip to find the front door pink. How can a colorful front door not make you smile? They’re bright, friendly, compliment flowers well and just darn fun. So here’s to the doors that greet you with a smile. May you, too, consider giving your house a cheerful look.
